KDP potassium dihydrogen phosphate and dideuterium potassium phosphate (DKDP) have low nonlinear coefficient, but they are widely used in a variety of industrial uses due to their superior UV penetration, high damage threshold and high birefringent coefficient. These two crystals are usually used as two, triple, and quadruple frequency units of the Nd: YAG laser (at room temperature). In addition, they have high optical coefficient, so they are also used to make pukker boxes.
Main Feature
Low nonlinear optical coefficients, wide transparent range, low loss, good optical uniformity, excellent temperature stability and high damage threshold
